What is Re:New?
Re:New is our annual student retreat designed to help students begin the school year with their eyes fixed on Jesus. Over Labor Day Weekend,
7th–12th grade students step away from the busyness and distractions of everyday life to spend intentional time growing in their faith, building meaningful friendships, and having an incredible weekend together.

Throughout the retreat, students will experience engaging worship, Biblical teaching, small groups, and unforgettable activities—all in an environment that encourages them to grow closer to God and one another. Whether it's your first time attending or your favorite weekend of the year, Re:New is a chance to be refreshed, encouraged, and renewed for the year ahead.

QUESTIONS ABOUT CAMP...
Who can attend Re:New?
Re:New is for all students in 7th–12th grade. We also offer a 6th Grade Camp Preview on Saturday, giving incoming students a chance to experience camp, meet the student ministry, and get excited for next year.

When and Where is Re:New?
Camp is during Labor Day Weekend - September 5th-7th. Camp takes place at Lake Lavon Camp in Princeton - 8050 County Rd 735 Princeton, TX 75407
What does the cost include?
The $160 registration fee includes lodging, meals, all activities, & worship.

How do I register?
Students (7th-12th grade) - REGISTER HERE

What about arrival and departure?
Parents will drop students off Saturday, September 5th starting at 8:30am. Parents will pick students up Monday, September 7th. Seniors are allowed to drive themselves. If there are circumstances that can’t be helped, a parent must get approval by emailing Chris Hurt.

What about schedule conflicts?
If you have to come and go for a school or family activity, that is fine with us. Students will need parent permission to leave. Please fill out the time away form: TIME AWAY FORM

Are phones allowed at camp?
No, not this year. This year we're asking students not to bring phone so they can fully engage with worship, friendships, and the camp experience without distractions.​ Parents will still be able to contact a designated adult leader throughout the weekend if needed.​ If a phone is seen, it will be collected. Students who refuse to follow the phone policy may be asked to return home. WHY CAN'T I BRING MY PHONE?
What does rooming look like?
Students are assigned cabins based on gender and grade. Each cabin has bunk beds, students of the same grade and gender, and at least two adult leaders.

What is the 6th Grade Camp Preview?
On Saturday, from 9:00am-5:00pm, 6th graders can get a peek at what camp life is all about. Bring your swimsuit, towels, and extra pair of clothes to enjoy all the lake activities.

What activities are available?
The Blob, waterslide, beach fun, banana boats, canoes, gaga ball, ultimate frisbee, 9-square, sand volleyball, fun rec games.

What if my student takes medication?
If they have medication they need to take during the weekend, please fill out the MED FORM. Bring the form and the medication in a zip-loc bag with you to check-in. Please note, according to state law, all medications (even over-the-counter drugs) need to be turned in and we will administer meds for the week.  We will have a nurse that will be in charge of all meds and first aid throughout camp.

What is my student has dietary restrictions or allergies?
Please list all food allergies and dietary restrictions on the camp release form. If your student has extensive dietary needs, you're welcome to send additional snack. Camp staff can refrigerate or freeze food if needed.

Are there scholarships?
Yes! We never want finances to keep a student from attending camp. Scholarship assistance is available for families who need it. Fill this form out: SCHOLARSHIP FORM

How do I sign up to be baptized?
Fill out this form: BAPTISM INTEREST FORM. Parents are welcome to join Sunday for the baptisms.

What is the Sunday night offering?
During worship on Sunday evening, we'll take an offering to support ministry partners our church served alongside during this summer's mission trips.
