WHAT IN THE WORLD IS D-NOW?!
It's the BEST WEEKEND in 2026!
DNow is a weekend for students in 6–12th grades to come together for worship, speaking, fun games, great food, and a time to grow in their faith. The weekend starts on Friday night and goes through church on Sunday.
Students stay in HOST HOMES and most of the activities take place on the Frisco First campus.

Who is this for?
This event is for all current 6–12th graders. Worship and Saturday activities will be together, but Host Homes and small groups will be separated by grade and gender.

What is a HOST HOME?
Students stay in a Host Home, provided by our church family. Host Homes are usually the homes of our small group leaders*, as well as other church families. Most students will sleep on the floor.
How do students travel to & from HOST HOMES?
Adult small group leaders* will drive their own cars to transport students. Only high school seniors are permitted to drive themselves.
*All adult leaders are background checked and screened.

Who leads the groups?
Our current small group leaders and college students (mostly Blue alumni) lead the Bible studies, recreation, and time in the Host Homes.

What does the cost include?
The $140 registration fee includes all activities for the weekend. Meals, transportation, worship band, guest speakers, t-shirt, and every/anything else needed.

What about schedule conflicts?
If you need to leave D-Now to attend another event, fill out a time request form in the Student Ministry office.

DANIEL RITCHIE
Hi, I'm Daniel. I was born without arms.
But God is glorified in my difference and has given me a thriving life.
God has given me the opportunity and call to share the gospel of Jesus Christ as well as what I have learned being born visibly different. God has shaped my perspective to pursue a full life because I am defined by Him, and His grace rather than seeing myself as the sum of two empty sleeves or finding my value in the eyes of the critical opinions of the world.
It is my joy to encourage others, and provide them with the hope of Christ. My circumstances are unchanging, as are many of yours. And if God has brought me to a place of contentment and joy in this very visible difference to the watching world – which affects every day in public or private – then He is most able to do the same for YOU.
