Frisco First's Legacy Ministry exists to equip and support our senior adults to thrive spiritually and relationally while living purposefully. We get together on Sunday mornings for Bible Study, a monthly lunch, and at special events throughout the year.

I graduated from Frisco High School in 1981 with only 42 seniors. It was the only high school then. Now we have twelve high schools with 400 seniors per high school.
The Hess Group

Leader: Carolyn Hess
The LLL (Love, Loyalty, and Leadership) class consists of the senior ladies of the church. We support mission work and study the Bible using traditional quarterlies.
The Newman Group

This group is over 60 in age. Members love to travel, play bridge, golf, pickleball, and cycle. Some are grandparents and caregivers of aging parents; some are still active in their careers. Teaching Style: expository, prefering verse by verse/chapter by chapter, but follow the church's LIFEGroup guidelines. Jim is warm and welcoming, reliable, and has a strong work ethic, loves to study the Word each week and share in class what he's learned “Throw me a brick, we'll put some mortar on it and build a wall together.” —Jim Newman

We call our Class WOW, which stands for “Women of Worship.” We are a class of all women ages 65 and over. We love the Lord and each other. We do lunch together after church every Sunday and Bible Study. We pray with and for each other as well.

The Kendrick Group enjoys lively discussion and application about a Bible passage and/or biblical topic. We are part of the Legacy Ministry with a majority of our members age 65+ and active grandparents. Social activities include monthly luncheon, evening dinners, and parties at home of members.

This LIFEGroup is committed to dig deeply into God’s Word each week using scripture-based lessons and applying biblical teachings to daily life. Together, we enjoy warm fellowship, support, and spiritual growth.

We are a group of mostly retired adults who love Jesus, His Church, and each other. Together, we study and apply the truth of God’s Word to our lives. Life can be messy, but we believe in the power of prayer and the purpose we each have in Christ. We see ourselves as a family: warmly welcoming all, supporting one another as we grow in Christ, praying faithfully, and lifting up His Church and His people.

We are primarily couples in our 60’s and 70’s. Some enjoying retirement, some still working, all enjoying being with friends and family. Our main style of study through the Bible is book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse, using various curriculum, videos, discussion, illustrations and application.

We always have a great time enjoying friendly competition! We play Uno, Mexican Train, Rummikub, and more.
