A FAMILY BUILT ON FAITH
BECOMING A PEOPLE WHO BENEFIT OTHERS
MINISTRY PLAN 2025-26
EVERY ONE OF US
Every one of us has been shaped by the sacrifice and service of those who came before. Frisco First Baptist Church stands on the legacy of faithful men and women who planted deep roots in Frisco to make a lasting kingdom impact.
Looking ahead to our 2025–26 Ministry Plan, we’re inspired to extend that impact—reaching more people both locally and globally. Our goal remains clear: to become a family that benefits others through generosity, discipleship, and service.
This year, we are under construction—physically and spiritually—as we move forward with Finishing Rooted to Grow. Our vision is a space where people truly BELONG—to gather, worship, and grow. Projects like a welcoming lobby, expanded worship seating, and a larger playground are more than construction—they are spiritual investments to invite people into relationship with Jesus and each other.
BENEFITTING OTHERS TOGETHER
To steward resources well, we’re making interest-only payments, so every dollar given reduces principal—minimizing long-term debt.
We’re also introducing a new Minister of G.O. (Gospel Outreach) to lead missions and evangelism—equipping us to serve our city, support global missionaries, and live out the gospel.
Through Finishing Rooted to Grow, the Ministry Plan, and your faithful partnership, we’re taking bold steps forward.
Let’s move forward in faith—together.

CHURCHWIDE VOTE
SUNDAY, JUNE 29th
LOOKING AHEAD
A NOTE ON THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR
As we step into a new fiscal year, we want to acknowledge the financial realities many families are facing. At the same time, we’re entering the early stages of construction through Finishing Rooted to Grow—and we've prioritized protecting ministry programming that brings life to our church family.
We’ve worked hard to keep the budget flat in nearly every area, safeguarding vital ministries like VBS, Blue Student Ministry, and MOMco. These are more than events—they help create a church where you BELONG and where families are drawn into deeper relationship with Jesus and each other.
Like many organizations, we are adjusting to rising costs in operations and personnel. Increases in insurance, cleaning services, and supplies require us to keep pace with the market. These adjustments help ensure Frisco First remains safe, secure, and led by the ministers you know and love—a place where we BECOME like Jesus together.
Over the past two years, in anticipation of construction, we’ve steadily grown our cash reserves. As such, Capital Improvement will be funded out this reserve. These finances allow us to cover the interest-only payments on the construction loan while reducing the burden on our annual budget.
Even with a modest increase to this year’s Ministry Plan (operating budget), we know it represents a sacrificial ask. We invite you to prayerfully consider how you might participate—through both regular giving and your commitment to Finishing Rooted to Grow. Together, we are trusting the Lord to provide what’s needed. Our goal is to raise $8 million over the next three years, which will limit long-term debt and help complete these key initiatives:
• Create a Welcoming Lobby
• Expand Worship Seating
• Upgrade/Enlarge the Playground
Thank you for being a church that gives generously, serves faithfully, and believes in the power of inviting people into relationship with Jesus and each other. We are so grateful for you.

NOT FOR COMFORT, BUT FOR KINGDOM
DEAR CHURCH FAMILY,
One of the clearest ways we live out our calling as followers of Jesus is by investing in others—seeing them, knowing them, and walking alongside them in love. When we give our time, our resources, and our hearts to others, we reflect the very nature of Christ.
At Frisco First, we say “Others BENEFIT through sharing.” That’s not just a phrase—it’s a value we strive to live by every day. We believe people benefit when we invest in them personally and then invite them into a relationship with Jesus and with each other. That’s the heart of evangelism. It starts with presence, moves through relationship, and points toward the hope found only in Christ.
As we move forward with Finishing Rooted to Grow, I want you to see how this building project is not about bricks and concrete—it’s about people. It’s about creating space where relationships can form and faith can flourish. A welcoming lobby that encourages connection, expanded worship seating that allows us to invite more friends and neighbors, and an upgraded playground that tells families, “Your children matter here”—all of these are tools to help us do what God has called us to do: make disciples.
Frisco is growing, and we have a unique window to meet people where they are, invite them to belong, and show them that hope is found in Jesus. I truly believe this next step in our campus is a strategic one—not for comfort, but for kingdom impact.
Would you join me in praying that this vision will continue to take root and that we, as a church, would be bold in investing in others? That we would be known as a people who give generously, love intentionally, and share the gospel faithfully?
Thank you for being a part of this mission. I’m so grateful to walk this journey with you.
In Christ,
Pastor Chuck Martin

A NIGHT WHEN GOD MOVED...
GOD MOVED AT FIELDS OF FAITH:
A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
Fields of Faith was nothing short of extraordinary. Hundreds of students gathered on the field—not for a game, but for the Gospel. And they didn’t just come to listen. They came to respond.
With our church proudly leading the way as the main sponsor alongside the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), this city-wide event brought together 860 students from across 10 different North Texas cities, 50 schools, and 20 FCA huddles. Eight other student ministries partnered with us, and the result was a powerful display of unity, faith, and boldness.
Let’s talk about what really matters:
-
21 students made first-time professions of faith
-
91 students said they want to go deeper in their walk with Jesus
-
39 made decisions to be baptized
-
37 sensed a call to ministry
Even when the power went out (twice!), the worship never stopped. Students lifted their voices in praise in the dark—just another reminder that you don’t need stage lights to encounter the light of the world.
Our very own Blue students showed up and showed out. They invited their friends. They prayed with others. They boldly lived their faith. And our church family rallied too—canceling Wednesday night Bible studies to come and intercede in prayer alongside students seeking the Lord.
This moment felt like a glimpse of what we've been studying together in our "Revival Generation" series on Wednesday nights. It’s all about helping students build a personal, vibrant relationship with God—marked by repentance, obedience, and bold faith sharing. And God allowed us to see the fruit of that in real time.
Thankful for a church who supports and helps students belong to the family of God.
