This past year, the overwhelming generosity of Frisco First Baptist Church family has allowed us to invite more people into relationships with Jesus and each other. In 2021, the people who call Frisco First home invested over $4.9 million in our ministry plan budget, missions, and Christmas offering. That is why we believe NOW is the NEW NEXT.
Our 2022-2023 Ministry Plan will be focused on investing in relationships to build the future. We believe Now is the New Next, meaning we must invest in our current relationships and look to where the Lord may call us next. Now is the New Next is our rallying cry to raise $4,695,952 for the Ministry Plan Budget in 2022-2023. This represents a 9.6% increase over last year, but we believe now is the time to lay a firm foundation for the future.

With the rising costs of utilities, cleaning services, security, and liability insurance, we have to make sure our foundation, the normal day-to-day operations of the church, are firm. This next year we have budgeted 11% more to cover these and other costs due to inflation.
We are serious about paying down our existing debt. We have budgeted over $150,000 in principal payments. Our new loan rate and banking partnership allow us to reduce the overall debt in principal without an increase in that line item.
Our programming has fully returned. Almost all of our ministries have resumed pre-pandemic activities and functioning. We see an increase in all of our ministries. At the same time, many of them experienced small funding reductions to accommodate the new and the next.

The focus of our worship ministry is to accompany the congregation in worshipping God in a way that encourages participation and minimizes distractions. To provide both variety and excellence, we are working to establish a rotation of gifted guest worship leaders who will lead us in worship rather than a single worship minister. These changes are reflected in an adjustment in personnel and an increase in the worship gatherings portion of the budget.
Frisco First is positioned to be known for its college ministry. With the opening of UNT Frisco in January of 2023, we will be building on and expanding our current college ministry. We are excited to welcome new staff leadership while building on our existing relationship with Collin College.
As Frisco has grown, 43% of working adults in the area are below 40 years of age. One exciting new ministry will be to these young adults and professionals. Frisco is attracting people from all cultures and backgrounds to experience the best of what we have to offer. We want to intentionally invite them into relationships with Jesus and each other by hiring new staff to meet their needs.

Along with college and young adults, this next year, we will be making intentional outreaches to marriages in all life stages. Whether enriching healthy marriages, helping those struggling, or creating a firm foundation during their engagement, Frisco First wants to strengthen marriages and invite couples into relationships with Jesus and each other.
As we leverage the new courtyard space, we want to continue to invest in the repairs, maintenance, and capital improvements of our aging campus. No one can predict the weather or the next needed restoration, so we have budgeted a 26% increase in capital improvement to care for our campus.
Even though Frisco First Baptist Church is at the heart of Frisco, we know we are not the center of the world. We want to expand and increase our local and global mission impact. We believe that the Lord can use us to extend His kingdom to all corners of the world.

Frisco First Baptist Church is a church on mission to invite people into relationships with Jesus and each other. Through providing Gospel centered worship services, LIFEGroups for all ages, and opportunities to serve in your area of giftedness, we believe Jesus will use us to reach Frisco for Him.
But we can't do it without your help...
